The Scriptorial of Avranches houses the prestigious collection of manuscripts of the monk copyists of Mont Saint-Miche, and invites you on an astonishing journey to the heart of writing. You will discover how the parchments were made and the inks and the pigments were prepared, of which the monks jealously kept the secret.
